BIO
Eric Bell lives in Central Illinois where he works as an art teacher, and continues to take steps toward publishing his first children's picture book. Consumed by creativity for most of his life, Eric has familiarized himself with most of the visual arts. Though he is a painter at heart, Eric also loves illustration and theatrical design.
When not in Illinois, Eric would most likely be traveling. Though he is likely to be found in Chicago or New York, his favorite destination is Maine, where he works as the Director of Arts Learning at a residential summer camp.
Eric received his B.A. in 1999 from Bradley University, where he double majored in Studio Art (Painting) and Secondary Education and double minored in Art History and Religious Studies/Philosophy. Aside from art teacher and camp counselor, Eric has held a wide variety of creative titles – ranging from special ed. teacher to museum educator to lecturer of art history to free-lance illustrator to sign painter to bartender.
